4.Employer Access to Information
BuildEm does not operate as an open candidate database.
Employers cannot freely browse candidate profiles.
Information may be shared only when:
- A candidate applies for a position
- A candidate requests an introduction
- A candidate expresses interest in an opportunity
- The candidate authorizes BuildEm to facilitate communication
5.Information Sharing
BuildEm does not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
We may share information with:
- Employers approved on the platform
- Service providers supporting platform operations
- Legal authorities when required by law
- Successor organizations during mergers, acquisitions, or asset transfers
BuildEm engages third-party service providers and subprocessors to assist in platform operations, security, and hosting. All such providers are contractually obligated to protect user data and may only process information on our behalf and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

BuildEm employs reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed to protect information. These include role-based access controls, encryption of data in transit and at rest, audit logging of sensitive actions, and ongoing monitoring of platform security.

Where required for verifying specific user eligibility, BuildEm integrates with trusted government identity services, ensuring that data exchange is handled with the same high standards of encryption and access control as all other sensitive information on our platform.
No system can guarantee absolute security. We encourage users to use strong passwords and protect their account credentials.
